About Everyday with ADHD
We're a passionate team of ADHD specialists, educators, and individuals with lived experience, dedicated to helping Australians with ADHD find tools and strategies that actually work.
Our Story
Everyday with ADHD was born from frustration—the kind of frustration that comes from reading generic productivity advice that simply doesn't work for ADHD brains. Our founder, after years of struggling with conventional approaches to organisation, time management, and focus, realised that the problem wasn't lack of effort or willpower. The problem was using tools designed for neurotypical minds.
What started as a personal quest to find products and strategies that actually help with ADHD challenges has grown into Australia's most comprehensive resource for ADHD management. We've spent countless hours researching, testing, and evaluating products specifically through the lens of ADHD needs—considering factors like ease of use for easily-distracted minds, visual vs. auditory cues, tactile satisfaction, and long-term sustainability.
Today, our team includes certified ADHD coaches, occupational therapists specialising in executive function, productivity specialists with personal ADHD diagnoses, and educators who understand the unique learning needs of ADHD individuals. Together, we bring both professional expertise and lived experience to everything we create.
Our Mission: To empower Australians with ADHD by providing evidence-based information, honest product recommendations, and practical strategies that work with ADHD brains—not against them.
What Makes Us Different
We understand that people with ADHD face unique challenges that generic advice simply doesn't address. Time blindness isn't solved by buying a planner—it requires visual timers and external cues. Organisation systems need to work with the "out of sight, out of mind" tendency, not assume perfect memory. Sensory needs vary widely and deserve thoughtful consideration.
Every product recommendation on our site has been evaluated specifically for ADHD suitability. We ask questions like: Will this be easy to use consistently? Does it provide immediate feedback? Is it satisfying enough to create habit formation? Will it work during low-motivation days? Can it accommodate hyperfocus without enabling avoidance? These ADHD-specific considerations set our recommendations apart.
Our educational content goes beyond surface-level tips. We explain the neuroscience behind ADHD challenges, helping you understand why certain strategies work. This understanding empowers you to adapt recommendations to your unique situation rather than following rigid rules that may not fit your life.
Our Values
- Evidence-based approach: We rely on research and clinical experience, not trends or unfounded claims.
- Honest recommendations: We only recommend products we genuinely believe help with ADHD challenges. Our integrity matters more than any commission.
- Inclusive perspective: ADHD presents differently in different people. We strive to offer diverse strategies that work for various presentations.
- Compassionate understanding: We reject shame-based approaches. ADHD is a neurological difference, not a character flaw.
- Australian focus: While ADHD is universal, product availability and shipping matter. We specifically curate products available to Australians.
