Each kit includes a site license and three months support to achieve certification as a facilitator of the Practical Behaviour Management Plan.

The Training Kit

1. Does not deliver theory but interprets information into real life experiences through everyday language thus increasing stakeholder understanding.
2. The resources are supported by years of qualitative data and proven successes.
3. Explains the differences in the child's perception and therefore the resulting behaviour.
4. Addresses the current need for practical behaviour management strategies.

Summary

This course is designed for professionals who are interested in conducting parenting courses designed for parents, carers and families of children with ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Aspergers or other challenging behaviours. It is important to recognise that general parenting strategies rarely have a behaviour changing impact on these children and often leave the parents feeling all the more inadequate.

Course Outcome

This course will provide participants with the understanding, knowledge and facilitation requirements for the empathetic and effective running of a parenting course specifically designed to meet the needs of parents, carers and families managing children with challenging behaviours including ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities.

Provided

The course is provided in a Kit form licensed under a Fair Deal Agreement to the organisation purchasing the Kit and consists of:
1.   A Fair Deal Agreement / Site License to be signed prior to delivery of the Kit
2.   3 months support to obtain Certification as a presenter is included in the cost of the Kit.
Ongoing support beyond this period is also available at a small fee.
3.   One copy of the workbook and workshop manual in printed form and on DVD for reprinting
4.   A copy of Every Day with ADHD - the book
5.   A DVD of explanation and examples to be used in conjunction with Facilitator’s Workbook
6.   The following DVDs from our Behaviour Management Series containing in depth discussions:
