Workshops

Along with the very informative 2 Hour General Workshop we have expanded our Workshop Series to include:

These Workshops will be conducted together with our General Workshops around Australia during 2010.

New - Practical Behaviour Management Workshop - 4 Hours

Pre requisite: Attendance at a 2 hour General Workshop.
This workshop builds on the understandings and knowledge gained from the general workshop. It is a hands on, interactive learning session where behaviours and strategies are worked through to a personalised action plan. Each participant has the opportunity to take away a working behaviour management program that can be implemented immediately.

New - Train the Trainer - 2 Day workshop

Pre requisite: Attendance at a 2 hour General Workshop.
This workshop is designed for professionals who are interested in conducting parenting courses for parents of children with ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities or Challenging behaviours. It is important to recognise that general parenting strategies rarely have a behaviour changing impact on these children and often leave the parents feeling all the more inadequate. The course is based on strategies proven to be the catalyst for life changing results for hundreds of families.

About Us

Kerry Cooney has a real passion for challenging children and challenged parents. Her passion and expertise is said to differ from many others due to the down to earth, practical nature of the information she imparts. Kerry sees no use in theories and strategies if they cannot be integrated and used in everyday life.

This book is the culmination of nearly 30 years of welfare experience, which includes 10 years working directly with those affected by ADHD along with 23 years living with a person with with ADHD.

Every Day with ADHD has been written for parents, carers and teachers of children with ADHD to help understand the world of the child along with offering workable strategies for every day living.

This website is also designed to be of assistance to readers. It offers the opportunity to participate on an ongoing basis through its ability to receive and post reader's feedback and questions. The website also contains contact information for ADHD Support Groups around Australia.
